A passion for a job well done

Maud is the Restaurant Manager at Roc Seven. She was born and raised near the Les Arcs resort, then in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. On skis since the age of 3 and immersed in the world of tourism from a very young age, Maud is a true local.

Scotland, Tanzania, New Zealand, Thailand...

A keen traveller, from Thailand to India and on to New Zealand, Maud has an unquenchable thirst for discovery. She soon flew off to Scotland for 4 months, then to Australia, where she stayed for a year. It was there that she had her first taste of the hospitality industry, working for the Hilton in Perth (4*).

Back in France, she started working seasonal jobs alongside her cousin in Courchevel. Her path then led her to Italy, before she headed to Sardinia for 5 months, where she qualified as a diving instructor. Next, she flew off to Tanzania, where she lived for 2 years in Zanzibar as manager of a diving club.

I like things to be done – but above all, done well!

Back to her roots

Back to France! And this time it would be in the restaurant business: "these are professions so rich in exchange and sharing, where no two encounters are alike: we're constantly adapting to the people we deal with, whether guests, partners or suppliers... that's what I love!". After working in several establishments in Les Menuires, she met Véronique and Stéphane Vidoni and took the reins of Roc Seven, an Italian mountain restaurant.

"My role at Fahrenheit Seven is to manage the organisation and smooth running of Roc Seven," she explains. "Because it's a mountain restaurant, it requires very particular forward planning: we work around the weather all season long, and have to organise as many repairs, stock, deliveries and works as possible during the off-season, before the snow returns." In a field that is still very male-dominated, Maud orchestrates this considerable logistical feat with an iron fist in a velvet glove.

Plenty of autonomy, freedom, and work built on trust.

What has the Fahrenheit Seven group brought her?

A true perfectionist and highly organised, Maud likes things to be done well – in fact, it's her guiding principle!

"That's how we build bonds of respect and trust within the team and with our guests!"

A guiding motto?
"The art of running a restaurant at 2,300 metres above sea level"
