The Fahrenheit Seven group becomes The Sevener
Six months after securing funding, the Savoyard hotel group owned by Véronique and Stéphane Vidoni has rebranded and launched its new website.

The group founded in 2015 by the Vidoni and De Unger families is unveiling its new name today: The Sevener. The °Fahrenheit Seven and Roc Seven brands remain unchanged; it is the parent company that brings them together that is changing its name.
A name to clear up the ambiguity
Until now, Fahrenheit Seven referred to two things at once: a brand of 4-star ski-in/ski-out hotels in the 3 Vallées, and the entire group itself. This dual identity worked in 2015, when there was only one hotel. With a portfolio of six properties spanning the coast and the mountains, it had become awkward: guests at Roc Seven Biarritz, Roc Seven Cap Ferret, or Casa Santini in Porto-Vecchio did not identify with a name associated with ski resorts. As the group prepares to welcome two new hotels and a new brand, Rider Seven, it needed a new name capable of supporting this growth.
A name found inside
True to its family values, the group designed its name and logo in-house at its Albertville headquarters. Employees were consulted starting in late 2025, and one point received unanimous agreement from the very beginning: keep the 7.
This new name is read in three parts. "The" identifies. "Seven" keeps the number that has connected all our locations since our first hotel. "-er" denotes a person: a Sevener is someone who brings a place to life, both the host and the guest. For the first time, the group does not bear the name of a place, but that of the people who bring it to life.
The logo extends this idea, taking the form of a gentle, protective arch—an evocative symbol of home and the generosity of the hearth. Within its negative space appears a stylized 7, the common thread running through all the group's brands.
Véronique Vidoni, co-founder: " The 7 is what our teams asked us to keep. From now on, The Sevener is the name for everyone who brings our places to life: our teams, our guests, and us. The rest is up to all of us to write. "
Stéphane Vidoni, co-founder: " For years, we named the group after our first hotel. Today, we host guests at tables facing the ocean just as we do at the foot of the slopes, and it was time to open a new chapter in this wonderful story. "
Same owners, new locations
The name change does not involve any changes to ownership or management. Véronique and Stéphane Vidoni, hoteliers for some thirty years, continue to manage the group's operations. The company has 50 permanent employees and up to 250 seasonal staff at the height of winter.
The next chapter is being written in the mountains. Fahrenheit Seven Les Menuires will welcome its first guests on December 11, 2026, featuring 51 ski-in/ski-out rooms in the heart of the 3 Vallées, a wellness area, and an indoor pool. In Serre Chevalier, the development project brings together an 87-room Fahrenheit Seven and the first Rider Seven hotel, which will feature an indoor freestyle zone of nearly 1,000 m² open year-round. This is the largest project the group has ever undertaken. It is scheduled to open in December 2027 in a resort that will host the snowboard and freestyle skiing events for the 2030 Winter Olympics.
A new website for every location
Available starting today, www.thesevener.com has been redesigned with the customer experience in mind. Navigation is now more direct: booking a room, a table, or ski equipment can be done in just a few clicks from any destination page.
The Agenda pages have been revamped to make the schedule for each location easier to read, from evening gatherings to major events. The site also showcases events hosted at our properties, ranging from seminars to weddings, as well as the training programs offered to our teams.
