JBL Snow Party activation at °F7 Val Thorens
Fireworks, inflatable domes and a live gaming stream: the JBL Snow Party 2023 at °F7 Val Thorens
Every year, JBL holds its Snow Party in Val Thorens. The 2023 edition was special: on top of the usual celebrations, the brand wanted to showcase JBL Quantum, its gaming range, with an e-sports tournament streamed live on Twitch from the slopes. 300 influencers from more than 20 countries, two major events in two days, and a hotel transformed into a stage.
Every year, JBL holds its Snow Party in Val Thorens. The 2023 edition was special: on top of the usual celebrations, the brand wanted to showcase JBL Quantum, its gaming range, with an e-sports tournament streamed live on Twitch from the slopes. 300 influencers from more than 20 countries, two major events in two days.
The context: 300 influencers for a high-altitude gaming range launch
For several years now, JBL has hosted its winter promotional trip at °F7 Val Thorens. For the 2023 edition, there was a twofold challenge: a spectacular Welcome Party on the first night and, the next day, a JBL Quantum Cup Snow Edition, broadcast on the Twitch channels of 12 international streamers.
The challenge: guaranteeing a real-time gaming event at 2,300 metres
Running a live stream in the mountains means taking on a serious technical risk. A stable wired connection had to be guaranteed, with no firewall and minimum speeds of 200 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload.

The Welcome Party: fireworks, a drone show and an open bar in the mountains — On Thursday evening, 300 guests converge on the °F7 terrace.
The JBL Quantum Cup: two inflatable domes and a live stream from the terrace — On Friday afternoon, two inflatable domes are set up on the ski shop terrace.
A setting dressed in the brand's colours — JBL stickers on the windows, braziers and marshmallows on the terrace, four Christmas trees, and personalised staff outfits.
Secure slope access so the live stream runs undisturbed — During the live broadcast, guests' access to the slopes is rerouted through the inside of the ski shop.
The result: a brand event that left a lasting impression
A double event pulled off brilliantly, live on Twitch from the heights of Val Thorens. French streamer Doigby wins the JBL Quantum Cup, much to the delight of the °F7 team, which counts several longtime fans among its ranks.

The Welcome Party: fireworks, a drone show and an open bar in the mountains
On Thursday evening, 300 guests converge on the °F7 terrace. An inspirational talk from the CEO in the DJ booth, followed by a fireworks show launched from the slopes and a drone show: the terrace becomes a stage. A DJ set plays throughout the ground floor, with an open bar from 10pm to midnight.
The JBL Quantum Cup: two inflatable domes and a live stream from the terrace
On Friday afternoon, two inflatable domes are set up on the ski shop terrace: inside, 12 streamers battle it out on Minecraft and Fortnite for 90 minutes, live on their respective Twitch channels. A wired connection was installed beforehand with a specialist technical provider.
A setting dressed in the brand's colours
JBL stickers on the windows, braziers and marshmallows on the terrace for a wintry mood, four Christmas trees brought back out of storage, and staff kitted out in branded T-shirts and JBL headphones. The hotel takes on a whole new look for the stay.
Secure slope access so the live stream runs undisturbed
During the live broadcast, guests' access to the slopes is rerouted through the inside of the ski shop, so that nobody passes behind the set-up.
