°F7 Val Thorens
Étude de cas

Bodo Festival at °F7 Val Thorens: three après-ski parties, light totems and pyrotechnics at 2,300 metres

Spanish promoter Bodo brought its festival to Val Thorens for a three-day edition. No accommodation package attached, but a complex technical set-up and a programme repeated every evening on the °F7 terrace, with light shows and pyrotechnic staging that can't be improvised.

The context: a festival open to all

Unlike festivals that come with a block of rooms, Bodo made its après-ski parties free to enter: hotel guests and passing skiers alike could join in.

The challenge: building a complex set-up on a tight schedule, and repeating it three nights running

Light totems, pyrotechnic staging, sound system and stage: each après-ski calls for a serious installation, on a tight schedule between the end of the ski day and the start of the event.

The solution delivered by °Fahrenheit Seven Val Thorens

A bespoke technical set-up, planned well ahead — The set-up is planned with the Bodo organisers well in advance, so that every stage of the installation is scheduled.

A reinforced bar and an indoor VIP bar — The same set-up as for the other terrace festivals: a reinforced bar to handle the outdoor crowd, and a dedicated VIP bar inside the hotel for staying guests.

Service and security teams scaled up to match — Three nights in a row, with a partly new crowd each evening: the team adapts to every session rather than sticking to a fixed format.

Shared communication on social media — °F7 and Bodo coordinate their communications before and after each evening to amplify the event's reach.

The result: three nights that set the terrace on fire

Literally: Bodo's pyrotechnic staging turned the °F7 terrace into something you don't see every night in Val Thorens. A festival that proves an après-ski without accommodation attached can make just as big an impact as a residential festival.
