Cimalpes' 20th anniversary at °F7 Val Thorens

For its 20th anniversary, Cimalpes wanted to bring together all its teams based in the French Alps for a day like no other. Team games, gala dinner, surprise cakes, a night of dancing: a full-blown celebration, in a hotel entirely privatised for the occasion.

The context: 200 people, a single day, one clear goal

More than 200 team members and partners gathered for a day and a night at °F7 Val Thorens, on the eve of the official opening of the winter season. The timing was tight, the symbolism strong: opening the season together, in the venue that best embodies the festive spirit of the mountains.

The challenge: turning a hotel into a party, the night before opening

Privatising the entire hotel on the night before the official opening is a logistical and human challenge. Everything had to be perfect for 200 people, with several highlights to run seamlessly and a surprise to keep under wraps until the very end.

The programme

The afternoon: team sports games — On arrival, the 200 team members are split into teams of different colours. The sports games are organised in partnership with Le Board, the specialist in mountain event activities.

Dinner: a festive buffet across both restaurant spaces — In the evening, the main dining room and Le Zinc are combined to host a standing buffet dinner: fried squid, truffle croque-monsieur, falafel, halloumi fries…

The surprise of the night: 13 cakes held aloft — At 11:30pm, the lights change and the waiters parade out of the kitchen with 13 "Letters & Numbers" birthday cakes, each carried by a member of staff holding a torch.

The party: DJ set at Le Zinc until 2am — After the cake, the party carries on with a streamlined cocktail menu (mojito, Moscow Mule, beer, wine) with a controlled drinks cap.

The result: a seminar hosted two years running

The evening was such a success that Cimalpes brought the event back to °F7 Val Thorens the following year: the best measure of satisfaction there is.
